WhatsApp Is Releasing New Tools For Messages Disappearing

WhatsApp has finally released two more useful tools for managing communications that vanish.
New ephemeral durations are the focus of the first feature. Your communications vanished after 7 days, but you may now pick from a variety of time frames, including 24 hours, 90 days, and, of course, 7 days.
For new conversations, you may also specify a default message timer. What does this imply? If you set the “Default Message Timer” option in WhatsApp Privacy Settings, the vanishing messages option will be enabled for the time you specify.
It's worth noting that when you set the default message timer, the default timing will not be applied to existing conversations or new groups.
These new capabilities are now available on WhatsApp beta for iOS and WhatsApp Business beta for iOS, with support for WhatsApp beta for Android coming shortly. Make sure you're using the most recent TestFlight update.
